Ancient Alchemy

I drew inspiration for this collection from the jewellery of ancient civilisations including Egyptian, Roman, Greek and Celts. Similar design features can be seen to be shared between them, including twisted wire and decorative beads. I wanted to create a 'recently unearthed treasure' feel to some of the pieces so I used techniques such as reticulation to achieve this.
